  • What is the Paddy Power Affiliate Programme?
    The Paddy Power affiliate programme allows you to make money from promoting our product/s on your website. Every referred customer that goes on to place money on the product/s you have advertised, leaving behind a profit, earns you money.
  • How does it work?
    When you become a Paddy Power affiliate you are assigned a unique affiliate ID. This allows us to track every user who registers with Paddy Power and places money on our product/s from your site. When you select media from our Advert Gallery, your relevant ID will be built into the code, allowing us to track all of your customers who click on it.
  • How do I join?
    It's free to join! Just click on the Register Now button.
  • I operate more than one website. Can I promote Paddy Power on each?
    Yes, you can add multiple sites to your Paddy Power account. Our tracking allows you to monitor each site's performance individually.
  • How do I add multiple websites to my account?
    There are two ways to add more than one website to your account.
    1) When filling in the application form to join the programme you can add all your websites there. If approved, each website will be allocated a unique tracking ID.
    2) Or, if you have already joined the affiliate programme sign into your account, select "Add new Affiliate Site" from the left-hand Dashboard and enter additional URLs. Each additional URL will be allocated a unique tracking ID.
  • • If I live outside the UK & Ireland can I join?
    We welcome affiliates outside the UK & Ireland but do not accept affiliates from the Netherlands, the USA or US outlying islands.
  • What kind of support do you provide?
    We offer full support to all our affiliates via email, phone and instant messager. We can also meet up for a coffee.
  • Why would I not be accepted as an Affiliate?
    Your site will be rejected if it contains topics that we see as being detrimental to our brand. However, if possible we will try and provide feedback on our decision.

Marketing Tools

  • How can I get access to banners and marketing tools?
    We supply a large selection of creative, banners, text links and marketing tools. All you need to do is log into your affiliate account and go to the Ad Gallery.
  • Where can I get codes for banners? All banners are available for download from the Paddy Power Advert Gallery and your tracking link is supplied.
  • How do I add a banner to my site?
    It's a three step process and very simple:
    1. In the Advert Gallery, select the name of the banner you want to display on your site. You will then be brought to the next page where you can select Download.
    2. Save the image/banner ad on your site i.e. paddy-poker-sports.gif in your site's images folder. (Use your FTP details to upload the image from your local machine to where your website is hosted).
    3. Add this piece of HTML code to wherever on the page you want the image to appear:

      NOTE: you must amend AFF_ID=123456 to your unique aff id and the image source is obviously your site URL + the source of the image.
  • Do you host banners?
    We do host some banners, but it is done on a case by case basis, drop us an email and we can have a chat about it.
  • How do I create links and add them to my site?
    Pick the advert you wish to use from the Paddy Power advert gallery, click the Download button in order to save it for use on your website and make a note of the Paddy Power Link URL which will be in the following format: www.paddypower.com/bet?action=cmp&cid=42&AFF_ID=123456 Where 123456 is replaced by your unique Affiliate ID
  • Can I request special size / content banners?
    Yes, all you have to do is contact us with all the relevant details e.g design and size required.
  • Can I request flash / scrolling odds banners?
    We use Connextra as a banner hosting supplier and can offer flash and scrolling odds for any market on Paddypower.com. If you have a proven track record of providing good customers we will be more than happy to discuss your requirements.
  • Can I use the Paddy Power logo on my site?
    Yes, of course you can. Simply contact us requesting a copy of our logo. Please remember you cannot change our logo in any way. We also reserve the right to remove our logo from any site.
    To ensure the logo tracks correctly, be sure to add the following link:

    Where 123456 is replaced by your unique Affiliate ID
  • Can I use Paddy Power content on my site?
    Yes, you can take copy from our site (just include a link back to the page on the Paddy Power website). You will also be given weekly copy with promotions to use on your site.
  • How can I deep link into specific markets?
    If you want to link directly into the football coupon or race card, it's easy. All you need to do is get the url and add your affiliate id. See the example below:
    http://www.paddypower.com/bet?action=go_soccer_level1&AFF_ID=123456
    Where 123456 is replaced by your unique Affiliate ID.
    Don't forget that deep linking helps people find the information they need quickly and easily and this converts really well.
  • What advertising am I allowed to do on behalf of Paddy Power?
    You may link to us with our banners, text link, or stories. This is the only method by which you may advertise on our behalf. To ensure the banners / images / links track correctly, be sure to add the following link:

    Where 123456 is replaced by your unique Affiliate ID
  • What advertising am I not allowed to do on behalf of Paddy Power?
    We do not permit affiliates to do any of the following:
    1. You are not allowed to promote your site as if it were the official Paddy Power site.
    2. You are not allowed to use any keywords that include the Paddy Power brand or any of it derivatives in Pay Per Click Advertising systems.
    3. You are not allowed to use any form of spamming to promote Paddy Power.
  • What is spamming?
    Spamming is when you send any unsolicited message to someone. So, this can include sending unsolicited emails / telephone calls / text messages / faxes / instant messages. Other types of spam include items like postings that break the rules on a discussion forum, comment spamming on blogs or wikis. An excellent article can be found on wikipedia.
  • What is Pay Per Click Advertising?
    Wikipedia have an excellent article on what Pay Per Click Advertising is.
  • What words or phrases am I not allowed bid on?
    You are not allowed bid on any words or phrases that include or allude to the Paddy Power brand or any of its derivatives. If you are unsure about using a word or phrase you have thought of, please call or email us and we will talk through it.
  • How do I find out about Paddy Power's latest promotions?
    We send out a monthly Affiliate Newsletter to all our affiliates to keep everyone up to date on our latest promotions and events, including our famous Money-Back Specials. You can also check out the "Affiliate News" on www.paddypartners.com which will keep you up to date on everything that we are doing.
  • Why are some affiliates able to offer a £/€25 or £/€30 free bet offer to their customers and I can only offer £/€10?
    Every new affiliate starts off with the ability to advertise our free £/€10 bet. If you can prove a track record of high quality customers, we will allocate you a higher free bet to offer your customers.
  • Does Paddy Power offer XML feeds?
    Yes, we offer access to our XML feeds, which display our prices on all major sporting events.
  • How do I get access to Paddy Power's XML feeds?
    XML feeds are password protected and gaining access to them is via a strict approval process. Submit a request to affiliates@paddypartners.com. If your application is approved, you will be issued a username and password and links to the feeds.
  • Can I get sponsored from Paddy Power?
    Yes! We will support you in every way possible. Email us with details of your proposal and we will negotiate expectations as all sponsorship agreements are performance-based.

Payment Methods

  • What Payment Methods do you Offer?
    We pay all affiliates by either bank transfer or cheque.
  • What Currency do I get paid in?
    We will pay you in either Sterling or Euros (you can choose your currency on registration).
  • Can I change my method of payment?
    please login and go to Modify Payment Methods.
  • Can I have my commission paid into my Paddy Power betting account?
    No, due to tax and VAT reasons we are not able to do this. All commission will be paid using your selected method of payment.
  • My chosen currency is Euro but I have earned commission in Sterling, what happens?
    The sterling commission will be converted to Euro at the end of the month and you will be paid in your chosen currency.
  • My chosen currency is Sterling but I have earned commission in Euro, what happens?
    The Euro commission will be converted to Sterling at the end of the month and you will be paid in your chosen currency.
  • What's the difference between Self-Billing and Manual Billing?
    We have two ways of paying affiliates:
    • Self-Billing: is where we send you a statement showing you how much you have earned and automatically send you your payment. The majority of affiliates are paid through Self-Billing.
    • Manual-Billing: is where we send you a statement and you send us an invoice. When we receive the invoice we will send you the payment. Manual Billing is only done where we have a once off payment outside the scope of our commission structure, such as CPA or Tenancy agreement.

  • Where do I update my Bank details?
    Once you have been approved as an affiliate, login into the system and you can update your bank details on the "Payment Method" page.
  • What is an IBAN?
    IBAN is short for "International Bank Account Number" and is used within the EU - The IBAN is made up of your country code, check digits, bank identifier code, bank branch code and account number.
  • Where do I find my IBAN?
    Your IBAN is usually found on your bank statement. If not, contact your bank branch and they will be able to tell you.
  • Can I see an example of an IBAN?
    Your IBAN is usually found on your bank statement. If not, contact your bank branch and they will be able to tell you. For example, a UK IBAN might be:

    GB29NWBK60161331926819 (22 digits)

    GB is the country code
    29 is the check digits
    NWBK is the bank identifier code (BIC), ie Nat West Bank, or BARC for Barclays
    601613 is the sort code
    31926819 is the account code

    An example of a German IBAN might be:

    DE89370400440532013000 (22 digits)
    In Germany they may refer to the bank identifier code as a BLZ (Bankleitzahl)

    Different countries within Europe may have slightly differing formats, but the concept is the same. Please note, they will contain various numbers of digits depending on their country location. For example:

  • What is the BIC?
    BIC is short for - Bank Identifier Code. A BIC is the unique identification code of a particular bank. These codes are used when transferring money between banks, particularly for international wire transfers.
  • Where do I find my BIC?
    Your BIC is usually found on your bank statement. If not, contact your bank branch and they will be able to tell you.
  • Can I see an example of a BIC?
    Examples of these might be NWBKGB2L for NatWest Bank or BARCGB22 for Barclays in the UK, or CSDBDE71 for Cortal Consors Bank in Germany BIC
  • What is a SWIFT code?
    A swift code is the same thing as a BIC code. The reason, if you're really interested, is because The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) handles the registration of the Bank Identifier Codes, which is why it is sometimes referred to as the BIC or the SWIFT code, but they are the same thing.

Account Details

  • I forgot my password. How do I access my account?
    On the login page, if you enter incorrect details you will be directed to a page to recover your password. Simply follow the instructions.
  • How do I change my Password?
    Simply log into your account and go to "Manage Affiliate Deatils" to change your password.
  • How do I change my account information?
    Simply log into your account and go to "Manage Affiliate Details" to change your details.
  • My country is not in the list. What do I do?
    Email us and we will have your country added.
  • Why is my account locked?
    There are two reasons why your account will be locked:
    1. Did you click on the T&C's check box? If you didn't, when you attempt to login to your account, you wont be able to access your details until you Accept the Ts&Cs.
    2. Following your successful registration, you were sent an email containing a link to the address you registered. You need to click the link in the email to complete the process.
    If this link has expired, please contact us and request your registration email be re-sent. Once you have confirmed your email address by clicking on the link, we will authorise your account and send you a final email notifying you of this.
